The Design
”Wheat”
Inspired by a Ben Shahn painting in which the background is yellow and the foreground is lines of wheat painted with black paint. After it was finished Ben showed it to a friend then later at a different location asked his friend if recollected what color the wheat was and his friend replied “yellow”. I thought it was interesting and started doodling out wheat on paper. Eventually this wheat design found its way onto a hoodie.
